The 7th International Symposium on Persistent Toxic Substances
October 10-13, 2010, Beijing
Persistent Toxic Substances (PTS) are receiving world-wide attention due to their high resistance to degradation, high bioaccumulation, and long-term toxicity to the environment and human health. Substantial progress has been made on the understanding of environmental processes and toxicity, as well as on the development of innovative technologies for contamination control and remediation of PTS. The International Symposium on Persistent Toxic Substances (ISPTS), organized by State Key Laboratory of Environmental Chemistry and Ecotoxicology, Research Center for Eco-Environmental Sciences, and supported by Chinese Academy of Sciences and National Natural Science Foundation of China, is a continuous effort to provide a forum encouraging interdisciplinary discussion and information exchange between environmental scientists from different parts of the world.
The 7th International Symposium on Persistent Toxic Substances (ISPTS Ⅶ) will be held in Beijing during October 10-13, 2010. The organizers hereby kindly invite you to attend this important meeting.
